Where were we...?

Updated: Jul 13, 2020

Ah yes, 9 years later, here I am. School is now out!!! Summer is here and well... nothing. We are living through a pandemic and can't do anything outside of these 4 walls. Oh the joy! We are all trying to make the best of it. Maybe we've become super productive and have finally decluttered our entire house, Marie Kondo style or we've done the complete opposite and our house can now be featured in an episode of hoarders. Either way, YOU GOT THIS! There is no right or wrong while we live through this. Whatever makes life easier and brings you joy is the right way for you.

Back to sewing! Because thats what causes me happiness. Its my "happy place", my outlet, where my mind goes wild thinking about what I will make next. Though sometimes I have zero inspiration, zero “sew-jo”. It happens to everyone, right? There are days when we just feel zero inspiration and we want to give up, even on the things that make us happy. Some people think they have zero creativity inside them but there's creativity inside everyone, you just have to find it. I’ve always enjoyed teaching people the little knowledge of sewing I have. My oldest son has even been inspired to sew a few items himself. Thats what I want to share with you! Alittle bit of my everyday creativity. Maybe some full project tutorials or some tricks I've learned along the way. Sometimes it may not be sewing related, just a little vinyl work or creative ways to keep the kids occupied. Today I worked on this beauty, lol!

Let me tell you, if there is something I am not inspired to do, it’s working out!
